Policy Analyst II

Think on your feet, enjoy variety, learn quickly, and enjoy challenges?  As Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance Company grows and services its Personal Lines Policy business, we are looking for the perfect addition to our in-house team. As Policy Assistant II, you’ll help process new business, renewals, and endorsements; along with other clerical tasks that aid in the production of the Personal Lines Department.

  • 1+ years of insurance policy experience

Essential functions include (but are not limited to):

  • Analyze new business applications for completeness. Analyze for accuracy and enter data for applications, changes, cancellations, non-renewals, renewals, audits and reinstatements
  • Assist with special projects to conform to State Insurance regulations and Company guidelines
  • Test accuracy and effectiveness of programming changes made by Information Technology Department
  • Communicate by phone, email, and written correspondence with insureds, Agents, Administrative Assistants, mortgagees, lienholders and other departments
  • Assist underwriting personnel with procedures and questions when and where needed
  • Manually rate manual lines policies to derive correct rate for each transactions
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • Serve as back-up for department when requested or required
