On July 13 Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance hosted a “Suite Night at the Rockies” for children involved in Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation (CIHAD).  Eight children from the “Dreamers” softball team attended. Along with them were their teachers/coaches and hosts from Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance.  The participants enjoyed a great game, food, and beverage as part of their experience.  They all had a fabulous time at this very special event. While they enjoyed the experience, they were also thrilled when the Rockies scoreboard displayed: “Welcome Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation”!!

What is CIHAD?

CIHAD is a charitable foundation that believes education can break the shackles of poverty. That every child deserves an opportunity to succeed. And in giving second chances first.  They work in a number of impoverished schools in the Denver area. With a goal of a 100% graduation rate of the children that participate in the kindergarten thru high school program. They do so by providing access to thoughtfully crafted and research-based programs that go beyond the classroom.  Furthermore, the actual graduation rate is up to triple the projections for comparable socio-economic youth.
